3D printing — common questions.
I don't have a 3D file. Can you still help? +
Yes — most customers don't. Send a photo, sketch or even a verbal description. Our designer will model it, send you a render to approve, then print. Design from $60 and includes one revision round.
What size can you print? +
Up to 256 × 256 × 256 mm in a single print on our Bambu Labs Printer. Larger pieces are split into segments, printed and bonded — we've delivered helmets, signage and life-size props this way.
How strong are 3D printed parts? +
Strong enough for most functional uses. PLA is rigid but brittle, PETG is tougher, ABS/ASA are heat-resistant, nylon and carbon-fibre composites are engineering-grade. Tell us the load case and we'll recommend the right material and orientation.
Can I order 100+ of the same part? +
Yes. We routinely run small batches of 10–500 units. We'll give you a per-unit price that scales with quantity, and if you need real injection-moulding numbers (1,000+) we can advise on the bridge.
Is anything food-safe or skin-safe? +
Food-contact-grade PETG is available on request. We'll always confirm the use case first so we pick the right filament and a post-processing routine that protects the surface.
Can you print in multiple colours? +
Yes. Our Bambu Labs Printer runs with the AMS multi-material unit, so we can print up to four filaments in a single job — solid colour blocks, embedded logos, or PLA + TPU combinations like soft-touch grips on a rigid handle.
Do I get the 3D file? +
If we designed it for you, we keep the working file on record so you can re-order at any time. If you'd like the original CAD or STEP file released, we charge a one-off licence fee — just ask.
